The firm’s founder and driving force, Michael has been involved with estate agency since 1986. Very much immersed in the day-to-day running of this growing business, Michael has huge experience in this market sector. He started his career as a fully qualified Broker in financial services for a large corporate, mainly involved in the mortgage market, then starting his own Brokerage and Estate Agency business in his mid thirties. Michael now concentrates on all aspects of Country Holmes and is on hand to deal personally with each and every client.
Louise was brought into Country Holmes in 2014 to help drive the business forward and support the opening of our new Glossop Branch. Working in the property industry since 2000 to include financial services and managing offices within the larger corporate Estate Agencies, Louise brought a wealth of experience and knowledge in valuing, marketing, and sales progression. Living locally and being extremely customer focused Louise now manages the Sales Team at our Marple Bridge office.
Cheryl has worked in Estate Agency for many years and started as a trainee negotiator for a large corporate company working her way through various roles to branch manager of several offices. She has a vast experience in this field and has worked with Mike in different roles and offices over the years and is now an invaluable office manager of our Glossop office. A highly motivated individual who excels in customer service to advance property sales through from the day we are instructed right through to completion of the sale.
Having worked for the company for 10 years Tom is responsible for negotiating and managing all new tenancies from initial offer to tenancy commencement. Growing up and living in Marple Bridge Tom has an excellent rapport with all of our landlords and provides the crucial point of contact for all queries regarding the ever more onerous lettings legislation. The majority of our landlords opt for our fully managed service, where Tom ensures that landlords and tenants needs are met during the tenancy period and ensures tenancies are also concluded as smoothly as possible.
Suzanne has over 20 years’ experience in a customer focused sales environment managing a chain of retail stores within the North West. After a short sabbatical, Suzanne decided to combine her love for property with her proven ability to sell with a change of career and joined Country Holmes as a keen and dedicated Sales negotiator. She has been part of their friendly and professional team at Marple Bridge since January 2016. Suzanne has lived in the Marple Bridge and Romiley area most of her life and brings with her a vast knowledge of the local area and all it has to offer.
Rosie is our newest team member and joined us just under a year ago. After leaving college where she studied business and performing arts, she worked in sales for a short period, prior to joining Country Holmes full time, to train as a sales negotiator. Rosie is very focused on customer service and is achieving additional NVQ qualifications whilst working in her busy day to day role.
Moira has lived in Mellor for many years, and is a well known face in the area. She brings to our Marple Bridge office a wealth of experience having previously worked with the property sector, reliability, and a vast local knowledge. The support she provides for the sales team at Marple Bridge is invaluable.
Janice is our newest team member. Working in accounts for many years Janice sought a more rewarding career, so for the last 17 has been a pre school manager and was responsible for caring and developing 2-4 year olds and reporting to parents on their child's progress. Janice has always had a keen interest in property and loves Interacting with people. She has become a valuable weekend team member.
